Once the amend taxes are process will they refund me the money they took out of my account?

Once you have filed your amended tax return, you will print, sign and mail it. If you are due a refund after amending, then the IRS will send you a payment by check after it has been processed. Amended tax returns can take the IRS up to 16 weeks to process.
