On turbo tax it says that my taxes have been sent but on the irs website it says they still processing . What does that mean ?

If turbo tax says they sent my return did they send it ? Because on the irs website it says that my taxes are still being processed . Or did turbo tax send them and it just takes a couple of days to update on they system ?

the IRS got your return. that;'s the good news. how long it will take to process is unknown. be patient.

If you e-filed the TurboTax site tells you if the e-file was "accepted."   Accepted does not mean your return has been reviewed and processed by the IRS.   It only means the IRS has your return.   You have to wait for the IRS to process it and send your refund.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

"Sent" means your tax RETURN (filing) has been sent to the IRS.  It does not mean that the IRS has sent you your REFUND.
