Ok i finished my w2 forms for taxes but the app will not give me the option for a 1099 tax form how do i find it?

There are almost two dozen different type of Form 1099, eg 1099-R, 1099-INT, 1099-B, 1099-S, etc.  

Which Form 1099 are you referring to?

Almost every other type of income besides Wages is reported on some Form 1099. 

Perhaps the most common is the 1099-MISC which is used to report non-employee compensation. Usually, the income from the 1099 is transferred to a "Schedule C" which is the form on which you report self-employment income and expenses.
