The IRS will send you a check unless you update your banking information on their Get My Payment portal.

 

If you need to update your information to receive your stimulus payment, you will want to complete that through the IRS portal, which is expected to be available by April 17, 2020. See the Get My Payment link below for additional information:

I have filed my 2019 taxes and my banking information when I check the status it says tax topic 152 I do not understand what this means, I am not good with computers and I don't have anyone I can trust I had a family member do my taxes thru TurboTax on my phone can you please send me a email explaining what is going on with my return, I just hope she did them correctly please help me and let me know about my stimulus check and if I need to do anything to receive that you should have all my banking information on my tax papers thank you for your help. b
