Will I be able to see the difference it will make on my tax refund if I amend the student loan interest I forgot to deduct before I summit it?

Yes, if you amend your return you will be able to see if it will make a difference. You cannot submit the Amended return electronically, you must print and mail it. So you will see the numbers prior to sending it. If it makes no difference TurboTax will ask you if you want to continue because it does not notice a difference.

You can also look at your tax liability on line 11 and 13. If either of the numbers on line 11 or 13 is $0, it will not make a difference.
