No response from IRS

I have received a letter LTR12C from the IRS stating that your tax returns do not have the original signature. Sign and return the declaration at the end of this letter. I put my signature on that declaration form, and I submitted my response on IRS.gov/connect, where I created an account with ID.ME secure message. Submitted on April 20, but still no response from the IRS. How long will it take to get a response from the IRS? Thank you.

Once you reply to the IRS letter, it typically takes 6 to 8 weeks after they get your response to issue your refund.  See Understanding your Letter 12C from the IRS for more details.

After 6 weeks, I will get a reply from a secure message (ID.ME) or " Where's my refund status? Thank you so much.

Only the IRS will be able to make that determination.  But you can always keep an eye on the Refunds page from the IRS and see if there are any updates there.

Thank you so much. How do I know whether my documents were delivered or not, and does the IRS agent see my letter response in a secure message?

I recommend reaching out the IRS directly based upon information in your initial IRS notice.  They will be the only ones able to assist you with their process.
