If you have NOT filed your 2023 tax return then to change your bank account for direct deposit or direct debt, that will be in the File section of the program on Step 2 using the online editions.

If you have filed the 2023 tax return the bank information cannot be changed.  If the bank information is no longer valid on the tax return that was filed then the bank will reject the deposit and return the refund to the IRS.  The IRS will then mail you a refund check to the address entered on the tax return.
