Need to know what 2016 tax return was accessed

Anytime a change has been made to your account or your tax data has been downloaded, Turbo Tax will notify you in order to make sure that only you have accessed your secure Turbo Tax information.

Learn more about how Turbo Tax safeguards your data and information here https://turbotax.intuit.com/best-tax-software/secure-online-tax-prep/

To view your account access history:

  • Sign in to your Turbo Tax Online account.
  •  Select 'My Account'.
  • Click 'Account Settings'.
  • Click on 'Security'
  • Select 'View' and scroll down to view access history.

If the information that you find in your access history does not look correct, contact Turbo Tax Support so that you can speak to someone in ID Protection by following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Turbo Tax account.
  2. Click on 'Contact' in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
  3. Ask your question.

You will then be connected to a live agent. NOTE: This requires the PLUS add on if you are using the Federal Free Edition.

If you cannot sign in to your account, go to https://support.intuit.com/contact/ and ask your question. You will then need to click 'Continue' and follow the on screen instructions in order to connect with a live agent.
