The IRS releases most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-file has been accepted.

To Track your return and refund see below: 

• Go to our e-file status lookup tool to get your current status on TurboTax website. (This is where you will see you’ll see one of three possibilities: accepted, rejected, or still pending).

• Wait 24 hours after your federal return has been accepted before looking it up at  the IRS Where's My Refund? See also Where's My Refund FAQs. (This is where you will get the latest information, once accepted the IRS takes over updating your progress).

• For states, use your state's refund lookup.
