If I understand , I need to wait for the IRS form 1040x to be available before I can revise my Tax return. Do I still need to fill out the 1040x form an mail it in, is that correct? I revised my original 2019 Turbo Tax in my local file to keep the information to go forward with.

Once Form 1040X is ready, you do need to finalize it through TurboTax Online. Once it is finished, print it out and mail. Form 1040X can only be processed by mail. It cannot be efiled.
