My wife filed married/separate. I have not filed yet. We want to amend to MFJ. Should we amend hers or should I file mine as MFJ? Will IRS disregard hers?

Your ONLY choice is to amend HERS to add you.

You need to amend her return to be the Joint return and add your info and income to hers.  So she will be listed first this year.
