My wife and I would like to amend our 2018 taxes, we file single. How can we fix that? We did not filed through turbo tax. Thanks.

What do you mean you filed "single?" If you were legally married at the end of 2018 your filing choices were to file as married filing jointly or married filing separately. If you filed "Single" you made a huge mistake. You need to seek the assistance of a paid tax professional to sort out the mistake you made. Amending using TurboTax is a really bad idea.

IF you already filed a joint return then you cannot amend to switch to Married Filing Separately after 4/15 UNLESS you were not legally married on 12/31/18 then you really need to seek professional assistance ASAP to fix that mess.
