My taxes said accepted at first, IRS tracker said accepted even. Then it changes every time I look, now its not accepted and proccessing, Got my state but not my fed? idk

The IRS tracker changes on a daily basis to something else, I already got my state back but it seems like they are holding my federal after its been accepted for 21 days, I don't understand..

Once the IRS has accepted your return, it then goes into processing status until they review and approve your return. Since it has been more than 21 calendar days since the acceptance of your return,  you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, but prepare for potentially long wait times.

Also, the IRS is experiencing delays in the processing of returns due to a later than usual start to the tax season, a backlog of mailed returns, current tax season returns, and the current round of stimulus payments. Please see this post here by ToddL99 for further explanation of why returns are delayed.

This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update and show the status. The 21 days is just an estimated time frame. The IRS began processing returns on 2/12, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated.

Since Turbo Tax will not have the status of your refund, continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

I think you misunderstood, It has been over 21+ days now, It has went from accepted on IRS.GOV to now "proccessing" after being accepted previously on March 6th.
