My taxes are pending for what!

 

Your filed return will be pending until the IRS starts accepting returns on Jan 29.

My taxes are pending for what!

Your tax return goes into a pending status once you e-file it. Your tax return will stay in the pending status until the IRS starts processing returns which is January 29, 2024.
