My Tax return shows the Tax Topic 152. I called IRS and seems there is no problem with my submission. Why would they still have it processing??

I submitted my taxes about 2 months ago. I would like answers. The person who attended me from IRS does not even have an accurate answer to why my return has not been finished.

If you claimed Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC) and/or Additional Child Tax Credit, this would be the reason you are seeing the Tax Topic 152. For some taxpayers, PATH Act requirements and other identity-protection safeguards implemented by the IRS may account for longer wait times. The IRS began issuing tax refunds on returns with the EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit on February 27, 2019.
