Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? If you did, then the account numbers you are seeing on your tax form are the numbers for the third party bank that receives the refund and pays your fees, then sends the rest of the refund to you. The third party bank has your information to make the deposit to you. But if you gave incorrect information for your own account then they have to issue and mail you a check.
