My status says Ready to Mail, however I mailed this 2-3 weeks ago, when will this changed or do i have to amend something to say it is mailed?

Your status will continue to say "ready to mail" because the software has no way to know that you mailed your return. When you mail your return, wait about 4 weeks and then you can start checking the IRS site:

To track your Federal refund:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433
