My status says printed but i have mailed all paperwork needed so why havnt i gotten an accepted yet

Did you physically print, sign, and mail the return?   TurboTax does not mail it for you.  The status will continue to say "printed" or "ready to mail" since TurboTax will not know if you actually dropped it into a mailbox or not.  

The status term "accepted" is only for efiled returns.

After 4 weeks from mailing, your return should start to show up in the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool here:
