My state hasn't been accepted. It's been about 4 days.Could there be an error?

Don't panic ... being in a pending status for several days at the beginning of the filing season is normal.  A few states have not even started accepting returns yet so just watch your email for the notification.

Depends on the state too.

NC recently announced they would not be accepting any NC tax files until 3 Feb.

Certainly, there could be test files pulled and accepted earlier, but some other scattered states may be starting up later too.....until then, yoru file just sits
