My Spouse who passed away in 2017 received a 2018 Form 1099-B. Do I need to amend my 2017 return?
The current tax will not accept the 1099-B.

It is 2018 income so no amended return for 2017 is needed.
Whoever inherited the stock and sold it would report the sale on their return.
If the stock was in her name only it would get a stepped up basis on date so the gain or loss might be minimal.
