My return got accepted from irs Jan 20th and I’m still waiting to receive it. Everyday I check the app and login online and it just says where processing your return

I’ve tried calling, setting up an appointment just to go to the nearest office and I can’t get ahold of an agent everything is automated and it’s not giving me anymore information than I’m already seeing no online. What should my next step be bc I’m really relying on my money coming and I’ve been relying on it for months now

Contact a Taxpayer Advocate in your area.  See this IRS website for Taxpayer Advocate - https://www.taxpayeradvocate.irs.gov/ or call 1-877-777-4778

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.

Your refund could be offset. The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.

The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.

Here are a few FAQs to help you track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?

Why do some refunds take longer than others?

What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

You will need to contact the IRS for information. It might be easiest to set up an account with them.
