My refund was processed but i gave the wrong bank account. How do I get my funds?

My 2021 refund was processed 22 Feb 2022 by the IRS and sent to my credit union.  I forgot that I had changed my account during the year.  Where would my refund be?

When a wrong bank account is on your tax return, then the IRS would issue you a check for your refund amount.  It can take a while to receive the check because it has to be sent back to the IRS by your bank, then the IRS has to issue you a check.  The IRS website, Where's My Refund, may have information once the IRS processes the check.
