After 9 weeks of no return yet
What is the hold up

Did you mail or efile your return?  The IRS is taking 6 months or mor to process returns over 10 months if mailed.

IRS website states if you filed prior to April and there were no errors, they have completed all processing. 

that means that if you paper filed after March, there is either an error or it's still sitting in a box awaiting processing (there would be no record on the WMR tool at the IRS website)

that means that if you efiled and it was originally "accepted" (which just means the IRS acknowledges receipt), there is an error somewhere.
