My refund for virginia was totally incorrect only got $4.00 dollars instead of $1219.00 what went wrong?

The state for some reason changed your return.  You should be getting a letter from your state explaining the changes they made.  It should also tell you how you can dispute the changes if you don't agree.  You can also contact your State for more information.
