My refund for 2017, is significantly lower, and I'm not confident of the amount showing. What options are available for me to have someone review?

The Gross amount of 2017 is higher than in 2018, and yet the refund is much lower.

With the tax reform changes of 2018, there were impacts on tax returns in 2018, even if all the scenarios reported on it were about the same as 2017.  With the lower income tax rates for several brackets, the IRS lowered the withholding tables for 2018. Therefore, less taxes were taken out from paychecks during the year compared to 2017.  This could be a primary reason why your refund is much lower.  Plus, there were changes with the standard deduction amount increasing and personal exemptions being suspended, along with limits and restrictions of some of the itemized deductions.  See more about the impacts of Tax Reform in the bottom link below.

In order to have someone review your return, you would need to be using a TurboTax online version.  Plus, all the review appointments between now and April 15 are filled, but you certainly can add TurboTax Live onto your TurboTax version and file an extension of your return so that you can have a tax expert review the return for you sometime after April 15
