My refund came uo to $1800. Why isnt the 3rd stimulus check included?

I was in prison when the first two checks were released and i did not receive them. I just filed my 2020 taxes and my refund came back with only $1800. How do i receive the 3rd stimulus?

The 3rd stimulus is not part of your 2020 tax refund.   It is issued and sent separately.

TurboTax cannot track your 3rd stimulus or tell you when it will arrive.  The IRS is issuing 3rd stimulus checks on its own timetable.

The third stimulus will be sent separately.   Only the first 2 stimulus payments are claimed as the recovery rebate on your 2020 return.   For the most up-to-date information regarding the 3rd stimulus payment, see this link.  

You don’t need to do anything to get your stimulus check. The IRS will determine eligibility based on your last tax return (either 2019 or 2020) and will likely send your payment to the bank account where your tax refund was deposited.    The Get My Payment links will only show information for your payment AFTER it is issued.
