My New York tax return was unable to be e-filed and thus says ready to print and mail. I have done so about a month ago and this status still shows up.

Does it take longer to process? I checked on the NY website to track and it doesn't show up. Any other way I can check it went through?

IRS representatives can research the status of your return only if:

• It's been more than 21 days since you received your e-file acceptance notification,
• It's been more than 6 weeks since you mailed your paper return, or
• The Where's My Refund? tool directs you to contact us.

When you are at 6 weeks from the day you mailed your return, track your return again and contact your state for further research if you do not see it.  Go to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance Check Refund Status page to track your state or NYC tax refund and  contact the Department of Taxation and Finance for questions.

The status "ready to print and mail" will not change because TurboTax cannot track when you mail in your return.
