My kids have SSN now and would like to amend my 2018 tax return. When I filed, my kids only have their ITIN.

I already filed my 2018 tax return but my kids have to use ITIN during filing. Now they already have SSN and I would like to know how to amend my 2018 tax return.

You can Amend your Tax Return once the IRS has fully processed your Tax Return and you have received your Refund. You can click here for instructions on Amending your tax return: How to Change a Tax Return You Already Filed.  

The 2018 Form 1040-X is estimated to be available February 28, 2019.  You can click here for information on IRS Forms Availability.

Note: You SHOULD NOT make any changes on your return in TurboTax until this form becomes available.

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually did not use Turbo Tax when I filed my 2018 return. Can I use Turbo Tax to amend my return once the form is available?

Yes, you can use TurboTax to do your Amendment when the form becomes available.  You will first need to recreate your return in exactly as how it was originally filed, then go through the amendment process for that return.
