The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the extra stimulus filings, as well as a few million unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown.  In addition, the Where's My Refund site has been erratic and unreliable.  But if TT told you the IRS Accepted your filing for processing, then the government has it.  (Approved is a later step, but TT receives no further updates once Accepted.)  Calling the IRS will not help, and the IRS has implored taxpayers not to call them.  Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient. Also see:

I still have not received my refund nor have I seen any changes on where's my refund.  Turbo Tax charged me though so that's lovely.

TurboTax charged you for the service that was provided which is to self prepare and transmit your return to the IRS.  Sorry that you are having an issue with the IRS.  TurboTax does not issue refunds or Stimulus checks.  TurboTax is a tax preparation platform.  If you have submitted your return to the IRS, then TurboTax is out of the picture.  IRS is forbidden to discuss your information with TurboTax because of privacy laws.  Therefore, TurboTax is unaware of your status.  All refund inquiries will need to be made to IRS as TurboTax does not have that information.

Just a FYI, you are not alone, this tax season is like no other.  The IRS was charged with issuing Stimulus payments while issuing refunds.  IRS had to suspend refund activity while issuing the Stimulus payments because the Stimulus checks are priority.  Please be patient as IRS is gearing up again to issue refunds.
