My federal has been accepted and the state as well but irs won’t let me check the status of my refund

Until the IRS starts processing your tax return there may not be a record of it on the IRS website. Keep in mind they just started processing tax returns on January 27.  If your federal return was just accepted today, please wait 24 hours before checking the status on the IRS website. The IRS updates the Where's My Refund site only once a day and that is usually in the overnight hours.
