My federal and state tax were accepted. Received an email3 days later CRITICAL REMINDER: Your tax return needs to be corrected and re-filed. What do I do?

Went back in to file couldn’t find any thing showing rejected. How do I know whether it’s been accepted or rejected.

You can check the IRS website.

You can check the status of your tax return.  You will need:

• Social Security Number.
• Tax return year.
• Hilling Status.
• Exact refund amount
