My employer just notified me that they sent me an incorrect w-2. Third party sick pay in box 13 was checked and that was an error. I already filed. Do I need to amend?

My employer stated that the electronic information provided to the IRS was in fact correct, the error only showed up on the printed copy of my w-2.

No, don't amend.

You'd only amend if there was a change in the amounts.  It sounds like there wasn't in your case.

Make sure you keep the Corrected W-2 with your 2017 tax return.
