My e-status on turbo tax just says accepted 1/26/18, but the irs where's my refund says approved with a direct deposit date of 2/22/18. Why is turbo tax not updated?

Once TurboTax sends your return to the IRS, it only has estimated dates as TurboTax does not get updates. That is why we advise you to check your exact refund status on the Where's my Refund tracker.
