My e-file was rejected and I was able to correct it via an amendment. I mailed my amendment but do I also need to mail in my original tax forms?

Only the copy of the amended return needs to be mailed, as long as the IRS requested you to amend then it is okay to amend.

Just the amended return need to be mailed in.  They already have a copy of the original when it was rejected.

You could of just fixed your rejected return instead of ammending it.
