My CA state return print out has DO NOT FILE printed on out. I am filing st and fed taxes by mail. Both were confirmed in the program before saving the files. please help

At this time of year, many state forms are not yet finalized for either printing or e-filing, or both. CA has some forms that are not yet ready for printing but can be e-filed. There is no charge for e-filing if you want to do that. If you want to wait for the forms to be printable for filing, we will e-mail you when they're ready.

Below is a schedule of when state forms will be ready for various types of filing, and you can check back here to track the progress.
