My amendment isn't showing up or looking like it went through

I made an amendment to my tax return about two and a half weeks ago and I have not heard anything about it. Is there a way to check when I am getting the funds from the amendment?

You can check on you amended return on the IRS website, but wait 3 weeks after you mailed it to make sure that it has had time to get into their computer system.
