Well it sounds like most of your refund was comprised of CTC, EIC, form 2441 Day Care Credit and/or stimulus credit (RRC) which they will not give an advance on. So you have the option to accept or decline the offer ... your choice.
$12,000 is an awfully large refund. Are you sure that's correct?
Not all consumers will qualify for a loan or the maximum loan amount. If approved, your loan will be for one of ten amounts: $250, $500, $750, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, $3,500, or $4,000. Your loan amount will be based on a portion of your anticipated federal refund to a maximum of 50% of that refund amount (minus any stimulus payment credit, also known as Recovery Rebate Credit).
