If you used TurboTax CD/Download software to complete and file your 2020 return, then TurboTax would not have a copy as your tax return would be stored locally on your computer or storage device.
You can also request a copy of your tax return from the IRS, however, if you have an immediate need, you can get a copy of your tax transcript from the IRS. See How do I get a copy of my tax return or transcript from the IRS? for more information.
You did not answer my question. My 2020 TT return was done on a 32 bit system. 2021 TT, which I loaded, is a 64 bit system. It is not recognizing my 2020 return. It's a shame TT didn't prepare customers for this. I now have lost all of my prior TT records

The 2020 tax data file can only be opened by the 2020 TurboTax program. Whether your computer uses 32 bit or 64 bit is not relevant. The TurboTax software can be installed on either.
The TurboTax program for 2021 cannot open the 2020 tax data file. The 2020 tax data file can only be transferred to a New 2021 tax return.
I am using the a 64 bit system and have TurboTax software installed from tax year 2009 through tax year 2021.
