Yes, I've been to the IRS website (https://www.irs.gov/refunds) and tried the "Check my refund status" button. Entered SS#, entered type of filing (single, married filing jointly, etc.) and entered the original refund amount (amount before amendment). Result:

That would all be fine except for the fact that it's been "under review" for over six months. I know it's COVID and all, but is there some way to see what the exact problem is?
