My 18 y/o daughter already filed her taxes, she's no longer living with me, pays for her college on her own. She did live with me for 8+ months of 2018. How to file?

You can still claim your 18-year-old college student as a dependent if she did not provide more than half of her own support in 2018, this even if she no longer lives with you.

If she has income, she has to file her own tax return and indicate that she can be claimed as a dependent by someone else.

If she has already filed without stating that she can claimed by someone else, you cannot claim and e-file as the IRS will reject your return. You can file by mail and ask your daughter to amend her tax return.
