Money was deducted from my bank account that should not have been, filed amended return which was 1,000 less than what I originally filed I did not receive refund yet

Why did they deduct money from my account on an amended return that’s not processed yet

IF you owed $$ on the originally-filed tax return, perhaps the $$ deducted was for the original filing.  An amended tax return does not pre-empt the original tax file.

Hello thank you, no I didn’t owe on the original return. I am due a refund and the error was 1,000 less than what should have been received but instead of TurboTax deducting it from the refund they charged me

TT does not receive your refund, so cannot deduct anything from it.
