I finished both my federal/state taxes with your program last week. I then e-filed both and received confirmation that my filings were received & accepted by both federal and state. At that point, I saved my work and signed out of Turbotax. When I signed on yesterday to check the status of my returns, your site says I never filled out of e-filed my taxes yet. There is no where on the site that I can find my information. Could this be a problem on your end and where are my completed tax forms?

If you filed using the CD/Desktop version, you would have had to save a copy to your hard drive for a copy of the return. Turbo Tax only stores a copy of your return if using the online system.
You have to sign onto your 2021 online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the 2021 online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your 2021 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
To access your prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
If you still cannot access your 2021 online tax return contact TurboTax support for assistance.

Hi Donin GA,
Thanks for your quick response. I did use the CD version for the taxes and, after checking my entire hard drive with no success, I tried the method you suggested but still cannot find my actual federal/state income tax information. I did print copies of the finished forms for my records, but the TurboTax site still says I haven't started my returns. I'm not sure how to handle things if I need to amend my returns since the site shows no records on file. Any suggestions?

If you used the CD version for the tax return, the online website would not have any information on the tax return since tax returns created using the desktop editions are not stored online.
Using the desktop editions the default location to save the TurboTax tax data file and saved PDF's is in the TurboTax folder in the Documents directory on your C: drive.
Do you have a network drive, USB drive or Cloud drive where the files could have been saved?

Many thanks. I must have just printed & closed. Have to watch out for that next year.
Regards
