Joint return repeatedly rejected for wife's incorrect prior year AGI

Like the title says, my married filed jointly return has been repeatedly rejected. TurboTax tells me it's due to my wife's AGI being incorrect. I double-checked her prior year return and also made an online transcript request to confirm with the IRS' own files - I definitely have it right.

What gives? And, will I owe a late penalty for this? The first time I submitted was on time. In case relevant, we got were married in 2020 and had filed separately for tax year 2019.

are you using whole $'s? 50 cents or more round up, less round down.

it seems you didn't file jointly last year so if her return was filed after 10/15/2020 use 0 (zero)

are you using her last name as that with social security?

in some cases, nothing works and you'll have to paper file.

if you don't owe there will be no late penalty. however, if you do the payment was due 5/17/2021

Thanks, Mike. The AGIs were .00, so that's what I've used.

Her return was filed prior to 10/15

Yes - her name hasnt changed.

Do you know of a way to dispute the penalty based on the fact that there was no mistake?

I went with $0 and it worked for some reason. We'll see what happens with the late fee.
