Its been 21 days and still no refund and when I spoke with someone at irs, they told me that my taxes were randomly picked for further review. Has anyone had this happen

My taxes were accepted but thats as far as its gotten and it just says they'll issue a date when available

It has also been 21 days for me and no refund when I check on the IRS website it says no date available

The IRS is backlogged, and it does do manual reviews of random returns.
