What income have you entered? Have you entered a W-2 or self-employment income? Have you entered the children as dependents? Did the SO live with you the whole year and have less than $4700 of income?

It was w2 and yes the two children should be covered under the child dependent and she should be covered under the family dependent she had an income but it was below 4700 and she has lived with for years by all of the qualifications I should receive the eic but it isn’t giving it to me it’s saying my income is 0 but I scanned my w2 in and made sure it was correct so I don’t understand
Go to Federal>Wages & Income and check to see what was entered for the W-2. If it was not entered correctly, then key it in by hand.
It says the same that the w2 says I don’t understand but then when I plug the information in for the eic it says again that my income is 0 and I’ve verified the the w2 information is correct so why is it not excepting that I have income
You entered a W-2---from working? Not something else like Social Security? What was in box 1 of the W-2?
Yes from working box 1 says 15993.66 so it says the proper income on the paper and in turbo tax but when it gets to the credits it’s not showing my income it says 0
Where are you looking for the credits?
Look at your 2023 Form 1040 to see the child-related credits you received

No not the child credits it will only bring the refund down if I owe I’m trying to understand why I qualify for the eic and it’s saying I don’t and it’s not giving me anything for it it keeps saying my income is 0 when it was like 15000 some for the year it doesn’t make sense does that make sense I realize I probably didn’t phrase it the best before

Another question----are the children YOUR bio-children or are they your GF's children? If they are not your own bio-children you cannot get EIC for them. Do they have Social Security numbers?
Are you filing Single or Head of Household? When did you turn 25? I would delete the W2 and add it again manually by hand. That may clear something out.
Please tell us where you are looking ----you keep saying that TT is saying your income is "0"-----exactly where are you seeing that? What line? Where? What is on line 1 of the Form1040?
When you look at the dependents near the top half of the Form 1040, are the children listed? What boxes are checked by their names? Are the boxes for child tax credit checked? Or the boxes for credit for other dependents?
If you are not seeing that W-2 income on line 1 of the Form 1040, then something goofy is going on with the way the W-2 was entered. Delete the W-2 and key it in by hand. No taking photos, no importing it, no scanning it or anything fancy. Key it in by hand.
Yes filling head of household we’re not married both children are my bio children turned 25 at the beginning of 2023
