It’s January 17, 2025 and Turbo Tax premier is still not fully functional. I called TT customer service yesterday and they couldn’t provide an fixed date. When?

What topic are you waiting on?   If it's 1099-R, word of mouth is that the Retirement Income interview is supposedly to become available on 1/21/26, but dates are always subject to change.

Why the rush? E-filing, regardless of whether you use TurboTax or H&R, won't open until 1/26 per the IRS. Even if you were to submit your return today, it would just sit on the company's computer until the iRS opens up. 

You can see from H&R's own website that not all forms are available as of 1/18/2026

I did call today TT customer service and they also confirmed tomorrow it should be updated.  Thank you for your reply.
