I sold a rental property last year. I cannot enter any data pertaining to the sale because I've been getting that message about the section not being ready, but that it will be ready by February. According to my calendar, it is February and I'm still locked out. I understand that the program may not be ready to complete a filing but don't understand why I cannot get in to enter the data. This is really basic stuff that I want to get done.

We anticipate the depreciation calculations within the software should be updated after February 13, 2026. Our tech team is working hard to release the updates before that date.
Please be aware that this update will affect depreciation for Schedule E (Rental Properties) only. Schedule C (Self-Employment) was updated previously and should be working in all versions of TurboTax..
Really? You do realize that sometime after Feb 13 is not an answer at all. I'm glad that it is being worked on because I sure am not working on anything. I can't even input the data. I'll keep the lack of promptness in mind next year when I purchase a tax program. At least let people get the work done even if the filing has to be delayed until the program is updated and verified.
