If your employer has an EIN filed with the IRS and you file your W-2 income without it, your return will likely be rejected. We advise making sure all information from your W-2 matches what you submit on your tax return. Here is a Turbo Tax FAQ on How you find your employer's EIN or Tax ID.

Is it an EIN for a 1099NEC you received (or didn't receive)? You don't have to enter each 1099. Just enter it as Other self employment income or as Cash or General income. You don't need to get a 1099NEC or 1099K. Even if you did you can enter all your income as Cash. Only the total goes to schedule C.
