If you accidentally filed 2015 information on your 2016 tax return, you'll have to file an amended return (1040X) for 2016. You can do that in TurboTax, but you'll need to wait until IRS processes your original and issues any refund. Then you can prepare the amended return and make the necessary changes.
IRS only accepts the 1040X on paper, so you'll print, sign, and mail it.
