It keeps telling me to amend my taxes but I don't need too.

You can cancel Amend if it doesn't apply to you ( if there were no mistakes made, or you didn't receive any additional tax documents for which you need to amend). See the TurboTax faq for instructions on how to cancel or undo amend:
